Chapter 26

Understocked

June 3 — 18:03

My fair lady tracked my movements with her eyes. Silent tears fell from them as she registered her surroundings. “Why do I need fixing?” Her voice croaked with an unbroken sob.

A slight hiccup punctuated her cries every few moments as she fought to regain control over the rising panic. I looked at her sideways. She was peculiar. No one else asked that question.

“Wh—”

“Doc what the fuck is that? A god damn piercing?” Karter groaned from across the room. “I didn’t need her pierced like some cattle,” His fingers hovered over the blonde woman as he contemplated removing the piercing, and then he groaned again. “Two, are you fucking kidding me?”

“Eric will enjoy it,” I shrugged as I pulled glass shards out of my dear lady.

“For a rapist you sure cry like a toddler,” Casey coughed out, and Karter’s head whipped up so fast.

An amusing smirk crossed my lips as Karter came face to face with her again. “Careful she’ll spit in your eye again, might go blind this time.” I mused as another shard of glass clattered against the silver collection bowl.

“It’s not rape if you consented and oh baby you consented, besides what I did was use you the way you wanted. The way your body curved into the pain, your little cunt squeezed my dick like it was the last thing you’d ever do. You liked it, you begged for it, you came for me. So keep talking, keep making your defensive little jokes. We both know you enjoyed it.” He slapped her cheek and then plunged the syringe of ketamine into her neck. Her eyelids slid closed as the drug entered her bloodstream.

“She has one hell of a fight in her, I’ll give her that,” I mused as I tied a surgeon’s knot in the side of her rib where I just extracted a large piece of glass.

“They all fight,” Karter ran his fingers through her hair absently as her breathing slowed to a peaceful slumber.

“You hate her,” It wasn’t a question, just a simple observation. As I set the needle and surgical silk to the side and stripped my gloves off. Casey could wait; she wasn’t in any life-threatening danger, and the wounds on her hand had slowed as her clotting factors took over. Her eye would need stitches, but that would depend on how long it took for Karter to give in and treat her. He was sitting on the stool now, his leg propped up on the end of the bench as he cleaned the bite Casey had given him.

“I do.” He confirmed as a soapy sponge cascaded down his bare leg. Blood mingled in the water as it dripped onto the floor.

“How deep did she bite?” I asked with curiosity as he threw the sponge into the sink.

“Deep enough, you’ll want to file down those canines before you stick your dick anywhere near her mouth,” he laughed as he haphazardly grabbed supplies he’d scattered around his leg.
